Uniform Labs said on Oct. 15 that it had raised $8 million across pre-seed and seed rounds for Multiliquid, a platform that lets institutions swap tokenized assets and stablecoins in one transaction. The company announcement said Polychain led the seed round, with five other investors joining.
- Total raised: $8 million across two rounds.
- Pre-seed: raised between May and June 2025.
- Seed: raised between April and June 2026.
Uniform Labs develops Multiliquid, which it describes as an institutional liquidity protocol for tokenized assets. The platform’s stated purpose is to let institutions move between tokenized funds and stablecoins without waiting through the subscription and redemption processes that can take days.
Who backed Multiliquid, and when were the rounds raised?
Polychain led the seed round, joined by Strobe Ventures, CMT Digital, Metalayer Ventures, Generative Ventures and Circle Ventures, according to The Block’s report. Founder and CEO Will Beeson told the publication that the pre-seed was raised from May to June 2025 and the seed from April to June 2026.
The $8 million is the combined total; Beeson did not disclose how much came from either round. He said the pre-seed used a simple agreement for future equity, or SAFE, while the seed was a priced equity round. The company did not disclose its valuation.
How does the settlement platform work?
Multiliquid lets institutions convert tokenized assets into stablecoins, or the reverse, in a single atomic transaction: both sides of the swap settle together. The Block reported that the platform is live on Ethereum and Solana.
The company says it supports tokenized funds from Wellington Management, VanEck, Janus Henderson and Fasanara, as well as stablecoins including USDC. Beeson told The Block that the platform is designed for treasury and collateral management, including shifting reserves or changing investment strategies.
Those uses address a timing problem: tokenized assets can live on a blockchain while still being subject to fund processes that take several days. Beeson said these delays can make it harder for institutions to move money when they need to rebalance reserves or meet margin calls. Multiliquid says it offers continuous conversion at net asset value, or NAV, the value of the underlying assets per fund share.
What will the $8 million fund?
Beeson told The Block the company plans to use the capital to expand protocol engineering, add liquidity and trading venue partners, and integrate more tokenized cash and Treasury products across Ethereum Virtual Machine networks and Solana. The company did not provide a timeline for those additions.
The Block reported that Multiliquid had five employees and was hiring protocol engineers and institutional business development staff through early 2027. Beeson said it charges fees on completed conversions and that the platform was handling initial pilot transactions. He did not provide figures for transaction volume, assets settled or clients.
